The Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Derbyshire in 10 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thee Derbyshire Three Peaks are Kinder Scout<\/strong>, Bleaklow Head<\/strong> and Higher Shelf Stones<\/strong> all connected by a 20.75 mile circular walk. We normally complete them in that order, but it is possible to go other ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet in Hayfield early on Saturday morning for a kit check and briefing, starting 9:00am aiming to complete the challenge in the early evening in time for dinner!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2026 Price \u00a355 per person<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This is a tough event and people participating should have the necessary fitness and also be properly equipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course is guided by qualified mountain leaders and first aiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We regularly run this adventure at the weekend, Saturday or Sunday, however if you would like to do this at any other time, including midweek, then please contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itinerary<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A typical itinerary for the Derbyshire Three Peaks Challenge looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday<\/strong><\/td>Meet up 8:00am at our base in Hayfield, Derbyshire for equipment checks and event briefing. Begin challenge at 9:00am from The Sportsman Inn in Hayfield, climb Kinder Scout then head for Circuit of Bleaklow Head and Higher Shelf Stones, aming to complete challenge by 7:00pm<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Please note: This itinerary is a guide only. It can be subject to change dependent upon viability, course members\u2019 fitness, or weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fully qualified Mountain leaders supervising all walking activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualified first aid support at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resupply of water and snacks between Bleaklow and Kinder in whatever the weather<\/p>\n\n\n\n
